Broken Mirrors and Drifting Constants
In a recently funded FOM program we will study the violation of fundamental symmetries and the time-variation of the constants. Using the most precise techniques available to us, we will measure small energy shifts in selected atoms and molecules. In this joint program with the VU in Amsterdam, we create a unique environment for these challenging precision experiments and their interpretation. The research extends upon the infrastructure and expertise that has been build up at the KVI, specifically in the Fundamental Interactions and Symmetries (TRIMP) group. More information on the program can be found here.
