Research Van Swinderen Institute Symposia and Meetings Van Swinderen Institute Inaugural Symposium

March 6, 2015: VSI Inaugural Symposium

To celebrate the founding of the Van Swinderen Institute we have organized a festive Inaugural Symposium on the 6th of March 2015, in the Van Swinderen Huys in the city center of Groningen. We have enjoyed the very enthusiastic atmosphere, and were delighted to welcome about 100 visitors from many institutions and universities in the Netherlands for this official start of our Institute.

Prof. Ed Hinds (Centre for Cold Matter, Imperial College) is answering questions at the Symposium following his presentation on the use of cold atoms and molecules to address questions related to electron-EDMs, Dark energy and variation of the fundamental constants.
