Climate and Energy Transitions
Mitigating and adapting to climate change have major spatial and societal consequences. Extreme weather events, changing natural landscapes, sea level rise and the widespread integration of low-carbon energy technologies in our cities and landscapes are increasingly evident. These consequences are not merely physical, but also relate to social, economic and institutional changes. This research topic investigates the wide variety of consequences and contributes to social and institutional innovation to adapt to climate change and transform towards a climate neutral society.
