Groningen Molecular Chemistry Conference

From:Su 10-05-2026
Until:We 13-05-2026
Where:Forum, Groningen

We are aiming to create a premier international meeting in molecular chemistry, which brings together leading scientists from across the molecular chemistry community for an intimate and inspiring event, limited to 120 participants. The conference will feature both keynote lectures and contributed talks in a single session, fostering meaningful discussions and collaborations.

The first and third days will be held in the striking new Forum Groningen, right in the heart of the city, but the second day will offer a truly unique Dutch experience on the island of Schiermonnikoog. Participants will have the unforgettable opportunity to reach the island by "wadlopen", a guided walk (1,5-2h) across the seabed during low tide. This adventurous journey will take you through mudflats and sandbanks, offering views of seals, birds, and marine life, as well as an unforgettable moment with fellow participants. For those who prefer, a direct boat transfer to the island will also be available. This will be followed by an afternoon science session including a special lecture by Nobel Laureate Prof. Ben Feringa and dinner, after which we will return by boat to Groningen.
