Travel grant

OIKOS has an annual budget to provide financial support to PhD and ReMA students who have been invited to present a paper at a conference abroad. The budget amounts to € 1500 per year and is allocated in two rounds. In principle, the available budget is distributed among the subsidizable applicants; however, in particular cases applicants with significantly higher expenses may be granted a larger share of the budget.

Deadlines

Applications (including an estimate of the total expenses and the conference programme) should be sent to the OIKOS office in advance; the deadlines are 1 May (for conferences in the period July-December) and 1 November (for conferences in the period January-June) of each year. Applicants will be notified at the latest a month after the deadline. Payment will be made afterwards and on the basis of actual and documented expenses.
