Rudy Rabbinge award for Melany Rios Morales and Mara van Trijp

A good tradition during the Carbohydrate Competence Centre Open day are the Rudy Rabbinge awards for the best pitch and the best poster. This year the Melany Rios Morales (UMCG) and her collaborator Mara van Trijp (WUR) and her performed the best pitch. The talks were this year in Pecha Kucha style: 20 slides in strictly 20 seconds each. Melany and Mara seemed to feel at ease in this strict choreography. They presented their research on the digestion of nutritional fibers in the human intestine clear and convincingly.
