PhD student Renal Regenerative Medicine - DESIRE

Project: The project is financed by the Dutch top-institute BioMedical Materials (BMM; http://www.bmm-program.nl/pro1/general/home.asp) and will be carried out within the Stem Cells & Tissue Engineering (SCTE) group of the Medical Biology Section. The focus of the SCTE group is Regenerative Medicine. Our aim is to develop new modalities for the prevention of renal diseases through organ-specific intervention with smart biomaterials, guided by research into the cellular and molecular microenvironment and mechanisms governing (patho)physiological tissue repair.

Period: 4 years
