About the workshop

In this workshop you will learn about the power of social media and how it can benefit your research. You will learn more about:

  • the different social media channels and their users
  • how to reach your target group
  • how to define your key message
  • measuring your impact
  • pitfalls and practical tips for your social media presence

This workshop is for all researchers who are interested in using social media.

  • Laura Bodewes is communication advisor at the Communication department of the UMCG.
  • Larissa van der Wal is content specialist with a focus on science communication at the Communication department of the UMCG.
  • Cem Vorenkamp is visual advisor and content specialist at the Communication department of the UMCG.

Please note that you need to register first before you can enrol yourself for one of the workshops. You can do so with your UG account. After enrolment you can select Ga naar de Cursus and select the timeframe of the workshop that you want to follow. After that you can click on Inschrijven and you are enrolled.
