CHS workshop: Publishing for early to mid-career scholars

Dr. Sasha Goldstein-Sabbah will organize an introduction to academic publishing aimed at early to mid-career researchers in the humanities and social sciences.
In addition to being an assistant professor in the department of Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Groningen, Sasha spent over a decade working in academic publishing at Brill, Springer, and the KNAW and continues to consult for the publishing industry.
Topics to be addressed during the presentation will include publishing formats, how to select a publisher, OpenAccess considerations, contract negotiation and the production process. There will be ample time for questions at the end of the presentation.
