We are excited to invite you to an engaging and insightful event exploring the technopolitical media ecosystem in the Southern Region of La Araucanía and its role during Chile's 2019 social protests.

This event will dive deep into the unique media landscape of La Araucanía, highlighting how various digital and political forces shaped public perception and mobilization during the widespread protests in 2019. This research seeks to understand the reticular organisation and informative production of this (social) media ecosystem when informing about the October-19 social protests up to the annual commemoration of this event in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
