Abstract

Since its inception, the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) has served as a platform for expressing both the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of communities and nations, as well as for articulating identity through visual culture. This presentation will examine Ukraine's recent history since its entry into the ESC in 2003, exploring how the contest has reflected the socio-political developments that have impacted the country, its citizens, and their cultural legacy.
