Conference - Curious hands: Space + sound in learning making

International conference organized by the Curious Hands Research Project.

International speakers from anthropology, art history, design studies, educational sciences, history of science, and musicology explore how making is learned and taught in different learning environments.

Building on the notion that 'making is thinking' and foregrounding affordances of materials, objects, tools, and people, the conference concentrates on the role of SPACE and SOUND for learning making in particular.

The programme includes talks, discussion, hands-on workshops, a special exhibition, and artistic reflections.

Participation is free of charge, slots are limited to 80.
