December 13 | GIA Day 2019: Official kick-off of GIA Centennial

The centennial was officially opened on the annual GIA Research Day at 'Het Kasteel'. Every visitor received a burlap bag containing a flower bulb or seed to plant for the future. In the photo caption competition fun prizes were won, such as an original BAI crate from the 1930's and free tickets for the Hunebedcentrum. The day was a great success, and after an inspiring day full of lectures and new research results a toast was made to ring in the centennial year 2020.
