First edition (2025): Arts in Abundance
On April 29th the PhD Council Humanities hosted the first Arts in Abundance symposium at the House of Connections. With ten presenters and over forty-five attendees, the event offered a great platform for PhD candidates to test preliminary research ideas and results. The symposium was well-attended by engaged Master’s students, senior staff, and of course PhD candidates. Throughout the afternoon, the speakers covered many different subjects within the arts, ranging from gender and climate policy to multimodal linguistics and from digital cultures to environmental activism. We concluded a wonderfully informative and interesting day with drinks at the Wolthoorn. We thank the presenters for their great contributions and we look forward to next year’s edition!
