Application procedure

To align the start of your parttime PhD project with the start of (most) courses, the preferred moment to enroll is September 1 (start of the academic year) but also February 1 (start of the 2nd academic semester) is an option. Possibilities for taking mandatory courses after February 1 (in Semester 2) may be limited pending on the course schedule and demand for these courses.

If you are interested in applying for SOM’s parttime PhD programme please contact Mrs. Rina Koning. Usually applications are assessed on the basis of the following documents and an interview with the selection committee:

• CV
• short research proposal
• scan of diploma
• transcripts
• proof of English proficiency (TOEFL or IELTS)

• optional or upon request by the selection committee: results of a GRE/GMAT test
