Now online: Video of guest lecture Bert Koenders
The guest lecture of Bert Koenders on 1 December is now online. The former Minister of Foreign Affairs (2014-2017) is currently Professor of Peace, Justice and Security at Leiden University (Kooijmans Chair) and serves as Special Envoy of the World Bank for Fragile States.
He discussed COVID-19 as a challenge to development policies together with Max van den Berg of the Globalisation Studies Groningen (GSG) institute (former director of Oxfam and former Member of the European Parliament).
This event was the kick-off for the GSG Conference on 2 December. The theme of this conference was: COVID-19 and the Impact on the Global South .
