03 November 2017

Call for Panel Proposals for the U4 Cluster Conference "Social Sciences, Economics and Law" (SSEL) (21st to 23rd of November 2018, in Göttingen).

The U4 SSEL Conference aims to bring together researchers and PhD students from the U4 partner universities (Ghent, Groningen, Uppsala and Göttingen (http://www.u4network.eu/)). The conference theme "Current Challenges for a Sustainable Future" operates on many levels in society. It involves challenges emerging from different aspects of the evolving patterns concerning institutions and governance, legal systems, sustainable policies, social inclusion, environmental innovations, jobs of the future, automation, migration and human rights, climate change, global value chains, among others. The conference will host a number of sessions organized into panels focused on specific topics. Researchers are kindly invited to propose panels to be included in the call for papers. The organizer of each panel will be in charge of receiving the submitted abstracts and selecting the presenters.

The panel proposal should include a title and a short abstract describing the research topic and main research questions addressed and the names and emails of the organizer and co-organizers. The organizers are expected to contact experts in the proposed area at the partner universities.
