Research Globalisation Studies Groningen (GSG) Projects

Global Land Tool Network (GLTN)

Globalisation Studies Groningen is leading partner in developing a new Global Land Tool Network interdisciplinary research programme involving excellent master’s students.  Many master’s students worldwide already undertake land-related fieldwork as a part of their studies (mostly as a part of a thesis project). The Global Land Tool Network (http://www.gltn.net) will develop a programme which establishes a more systematic approach to these research projects. Once implemented, the programme will partner pairs of students from universities from the global North with pairs of students from Southern universities, to undertake field research on land-related issues, with a particular focus on the use of pro-poor and gender-responsive land tools for the realisation of tenure security for all.

For more information on this research programme, please contact Lisette Meij (lisettemeij gmail.com) or Leon Verstappen (l.c.a.verstappen rug.nl).
