What are secondary data and when am I required to archive them?
Answer
Secondary data include all processed data files used in the preparation of the document:
- spreadsheets,
- databases,
- output from statistical packages,
- graphics,
- geographic information,
- simulated datasets: only if NOT possible to reproduce from program code.
The secondary data listed above must always be deposited in the repository when collected in a GELIFES research project, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
