Top Institute Food and Nutrition (TIFN)
In the face of today’s challenge to make the healthy choice the easy choice, it is vital for the food industry and research organisations to pool knowledge and resources for multidisciplinary research. Top Institute Food and Nutrition (TIFN) [hyperlink naar: www.tifn.nl] is a unique public private partnership that generates scientific breakthroughs in food and nutrition. This results in the development of innovative products and technologies that respond to consumer demands for safe, tasty and healthy foods. In TIFN the research is organized in three main cross-theme platforms: 1. Nutrigenomics, 2. Bacterial Genomics, and 3. Knowledge Management. GBB participates mainly in platforms 1 and 2.
