18 December 2025
In the past months, ESRIG partnered with the Wubbo Ockels School (WOS), the municipality of Groningen and curator Sayoko Matsutani in engaging students and the public in the energy transition. During the European Researchers’ Night, the installation ‘Constellations of Art and Energy Transition’ was showcased alongside a public discussion. On November 24, students joined the symposium ‘Art Across Energy, Climate and Sustainability’. Last month, the exhibition ‘Art of Energy Transition: Future of Groningen’ introduced artistic and cultural perspectives on energy topics to new audiences, featuring a cabinet of curiosities and interactive energy tables that encouraged dialogue among artists, researchers, students and visitors.
