The Carbon Cycle as Earth’s Thermostat
In an ingenious cycle, carbon is exchanged between atmosphere and oceans, plants, and rocks. However, this cycle becomes unbalanced if we, humans, continue to release extra carbon dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere.
