Ashish Cherukuri promoted to Associate Professor in Optimization and Networks

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Ashish Cherukuri has been promoted to Associate Professor in Optimization and Networks at the Engineering and Technology Institute Groningen (ENTEG), University of Groningen.

Dr. Cherukuri received his Bachelor’s degree from IIT Delhi and his Master’s degree from ETH Zurich. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of California, San Diego, and subsequently worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Automatic Control Laboratory at ETH Zurich before joining ENTEG.

His research lies at the intersection of optimization, control, and game theory, with a focus on networked and multi-agent systems. Application areas include energy systems, transportation networks, and robotics. A central theme in his work is decision-making under uncertainty, which he addresses through data-driven optimization and learning-based methods.

We congratulate Ashish on this well-deserved promotion and look forward to his continued contributions to ENTEG’s research and educational programsmes.
