Anastasiia Krushynska awarded the prestigious MetaMAT Medal

We are proud to announce that Prof. Dr. Anastasiia Krushynska has been honored with the MetaMAT Medal by MetaMat.org, one of the world’s leading communities in metamaterials research. Supported by institutions such as Imperial College London, The UK Acoustics Network Plus (UKAN+) and the Université Marie et Louis Pasteur, this recognition underscores her exceptional contributions to the fields of Mechanics, Thermal Science, Acoustics, and Applied Mathematics.

The award was presented on July 23, 2026, during the MetaMAT 2026 Conference in Ajaccio, France, a premier gathering for advancements in Meta Mechanical, Acoustic, and Thermal (MetaMAT) technologies. Anastasiia Krushynska was one of only five global recipients of this year’s medal, selected for her outstanding and sustained impact on the international metamaterials community.
