Second VERSEN PhD award for member of the Software Engineering group

Dr. Elvira-Maria Arvanitou from the Software Engineering group has received the Second PhD award of VERSEN (Dutch National Association for Software Engineering). The jury commented on her thesis being "a significant contribution to the domain of metrics in software engineering, while embracing the weaknesses of metrics." Dr. Arvanitou defended her thesis "Proposing and Empirically Validating Change Impact Analysis Metrics" on July 2018. The award was presented during ICT Open 2019.
