Research

The research program of the Computer Architecture group addresses the areas of computer architecture and micro-architecture, custom computing, non-digital computing, data centric design and other closely related topics. We will continue innovating in dedicated tools and methodologies for computing systems design. With the above our work directly contributes to the solutions of the grand challenges in computing. Our primary focus on application- and data-centric techniques naturally leads to various interdisciplinary collaborations with domain experts from medicine, neuroscience, life sciences and robotics. Our work is inspired by solving real problems that enable advances in scientific research and engineering, or are improving our highly digitalised society.
