Title:
Exponential convergence of the Frederick-Andersen model
Abstract:
We consider the Fredrickson-Andersen spin model (which is a type of kinetic gas model) under which values can change at rate one (to be replaced by a q Bernoulli value) provided at least one neighboring site is occupied. We show that for parameter value q very close to one the process converges exponentially fast to the q Bernoulli product measure equilibrium. We use comparisons with the contact process and elementary large deviations properties for this latter process .
