Come to Assen for Rondje Rechtsstaat

The Faculty of Law and the District Court of the Northern Netherlands are jointly taking part in ‘Rondje Rechtsstaat’, part of the national Rule of Law Week. Would you like to find out what goes on behind the scenes at the court and how our rule of law is faring? Then come to Assen on 12 September.

Assen District Court holds an open day

On Open Monuments Day, the District Court of the Northern Netherlands will open its historic building in Assen to the general public from 10.30 am to 4.00 pm. The programme features a variety of activities, including a series of topical talks on the rule of law by, amongst others, Judge and Professor by Special Appointment of Jurisprudence and the Rule of Law Sietske Dijkstra, Sam Maasbommel and Jaap Dijkstra.
