Ze was een bevlogen pleitbezorger voor mensenrechten en het recht op gezondheid. Ze was een pionier in het veld en een uitstekende wetenschapper. Maar bovenal was ze een warm mens. Een bloemlezing uit de vele reacties op het overlijden van hoogleraar gezondheidsrecht Brigit Toebes (57).
