Justine van Lochem reappointed as endowed professor of Tenancy Law

Justine van Lochem, holder of the special chair in Tenancy Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Groningen, has been reappointed for a second five-year term.
As a professor, Van Lochem focuses on researching the tension between freedom of contract, tenant protection and policy objectives within tenancy law. The chair was established by the Vereniging van Huurrecht Advocaten (VHA).
In addition to her academic work, Van Lochem is active as a solicitor and partner at Van Benthem & Keulen, where she specialises in both residential and commercial tenancy law and heads the tenancy law department.
