Introductionprogramme BA Religious Studies

From:Fr 28-08-2020
Until:We 09-09-2020
Where:Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies, Oude Boteringestraat 38, Groningen

Leaving your home and going to University can be quite overwhelming, especially when you are moving to another country. That is why we organize an extensive introduction programme that takes several days. At the Faculty, you will be introduced to the IT-systems we use, you will learn how to register for course units and examinations and how to order books in the University Library. The best part of the programme is the introduction programme organised by your mentors and the faculty's student association Gerardus van der Leeuw. The contents of this particular part of the programme will remain a secret, it is something you have to experience!

Can't wait to get to know the Faculty? Check out the Guide to the Faculty , which will be handed out to you in print during the introduction programme.

In contrast to the previous 51 editions, the Groningen general introduction week for first-year students is mostly online this year. The focus is on the informative character of the KEI-week. There will be a full afternoon and evening programme for the entire KEI-week in which participants (KEI participants) can participate. Online programme components are made available via an online platform. KEI participants will have access to the platform prior to the start of the KEI-week. In addition to the online activities, the KEI board is also looking at options for a number of physical components. The ultimate progress depends on the measures that are in effect during the KEI-week. KEI participants will be divided into KEI groups this year to reinforce the social aspect of the KEI-week. These groups are supervised by senior students (KEI leaders). With these KEI groups, KEI participants are able to get to know new people in their new student city and they can ask questions to their KEI leaders.
