Building inclusion together: proud of our Facility Support nomination
Last Thursday 3 October, Arthur Hilberdink and Jelmer Kiewiet from the Facility Support department attended the SWOM Impact Event, organized at the Social and Economic Council. They attended the event and workshops focused on creating impact, while also being honored as nominees at the award ceremony of the first ever Rick Brink Award ceremony for the most inclusive department. Unfortunately, colleague Maud Kruizinga was unable to attend.

Although we did not take home the Rick Brink Award, our department, alongside our job agreements at the University of Groningen, takes great pride in being recognized as one of the top five most inclusive departments in the Netherlands. The other nominees were: the Senate, Social Capital, Rijkswaterstaat and Jumbo Supermarkets. The Rick Brink Award was won by the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority and presented by Social Affairs and Employment Minister Eddy van Hijum.
