Aftermovies symposium and microscope day 70 years Nobel Prize Zernike
On 3 and 4 November, the UG celebrated the platinum anniversary of the Nobel Prize in Physics for Frits Zernike, inventor of the phase contrast microscope. On 3 November there was a symposium and public lecture, and on 4 November microscopes were set up at more than 60 locations throughout the province. Visitors there, from young to old, could take a peek into the microworld.
