Questions about love
Tuesday is Valentine’s Day. The day of love. Secret love, playful love, passionate love, love of one’s neighbour, love between friends, universal love; love in all its guises. Love can be beautiful, but it can also be complicated. Because sometimes love can be unrequited, or it might stir up feelings of jealousy, sadness, or boredom. In this video, assistant professor and researcher Laura Baams answers several questions about love that were submitted via Instagram. Among the questions submitted were: Is there such thing as love at first sight, and How can I prevent feelings of jealously in a relationship?
Laura Baams is an assistant professor at the Department of Pedagogical and Educational Sciences at the University of Groningen. Her research focuses on health inequalities among LGBTQ youth and how these may be exacerbated or mitigated by socio-environmental factors.
