All 2022 UG dissertations digitally available

23 January 2023

All UG dissertations from 2022 - 610 in total - have been received in digital format. All dissertations can be found in the UG research portal.

Whenever possible, dissertations are made available open access, without restrictions, but in many cases (temporary) embargoes are necessary. The main reason for placing a temporary embargo on the entire dissertation is a commercial edition of the dissertation, publishers typically demand an embargo in this case. The most common reason for placing separate chapters under embargo is that the chapters will be published as a journal article at a later date.

The PhD-regulations require that PhD-students submit the print and digital versions of their dissertations at least three weeks prior to the promotion date.
