UG's response to violence against protests Iran
We are deeply concerned about the situation in Iran and the people who are subjected to unjustifiable violence. It touches and upsets many in our community, especially those who have ties to the region and who are worried about their families and loved ones. Furthermore, our core values are under threat. Our thoughts are with those in distress and we try to provide support with everything we can.
For colleagues and students in need of support, there are different options. Students can contact the Student Service Centre for, amongst other things, mental health support. Colleagues can go to several different people for help, who can be found in this overview. Of course as a staff member you can also contact your manager if you feel the need for support.
