Young Academy Groningen gives flash lectures for Noorderzon
Scientists from the University of Groningen will give short lectures on various subjects during the Noorderzon Festival. This year, the festival takes place in the Noorderplantsoen from 18 to 28 August. Every afternoon and evening until 22 August, you can listen to lectures on surprising research topics through headphones. The lectures are given by researchers from the Young Academy Groningen (YAG)
The following topics will be presented in English:
- Léonie de Jonge | Demystifying the p-word: what is populism and how might we respond?
- Jorge Pérez | Can we rely on software?
- Anastasiia Krushynska | Noise: understand and control
- Pratika Dayal | Life on earth: run-of-the-mill or cosmic anomaly?
