Fulbright grant for two UG researchers

29 June 2021

Two UG researchers have received a Fulbright grant for a stay in the United States. The Fulbright programme is a worldwide programme for study and research exchanges between the United States and over 160 countries, and provides Master’s students, PhD students and academics with the opportunity to follow course units or carry out research at a prestigious American university.

For the academic year 2021-2022, grants have been awarded to UG researchers Freek Heideman (PhD grant, New York University School of Law) and Justin Lindeboom (graduate grant, Harvard Law School). Mieke Slim, who obtained her Bachelor’s degree at the UG and who is now doing a PhD at Ghent University, has also been awarded a grant.

In the US, two grants have been awarded for a stay at the UG, to Dr G.L. Freed (University of Michigan) and Ms K.F. Liu (Stanford University).
