IEEE Paper award for Dr. Cucuzzella, Prof. De Persis and Prof. Van der Schaft

22 January 2021

Dr. Michele Cucuzzella and Prof. Claudio De Persis of ENTEG and Prof. Arjan van der Schaft of the Bernoulli Institute , together with several co-writers, have been awarded the IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology Outstanding Paper Award. They received this award for their paper called ‘A Robust Consensus Algorithm for Current Sharing and Voltage Regulation in DC Microgrids’. The paper proposes a novel distributed control algorithm for current sharing and voltage regulation in DC microgrids.

The IEEE award is handed out to the writers of the best paper of the past two years in the field of Control Systems Technology. It recognizes originality, relevance of the application, clarity of exposition, and demonstrated impact on control systems technology. An IEEE paper award is a prestigious award in the international engineering field and, in addition, a big appreciation for the engineering community of our faculty.

The award has been presented virtually during the Control Systems Society Awards Ceremony at the 2020 IEEE Conference on Decision and Control.
