Study spaces for Hanze and UG students in De Oosterpoort

09 October 2020

Extra study spaces have been reserved by the UG and Hanze UAS at Groningen cultural venue De Oosterpoort between 21 October (1.30 p.m.) and 6 November. This has been arranged in preparation for the upcoming exam weeks and, of course, complies with the guidelines set out by the RIVM (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment) to control the spread of the coronavirus.

This will initially be a pilot to see whether the facilities match students’ wishes and fit well within De Oosterpoort. At the end of the pilot phase, De Oosterpoort facilitator SPOT Groningen, the UG and Hanze UAS will evaluate the collaboration to see whether it should be made permanent and whether the number of study spaces can be increased.

Students are welcome between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on a first come, first served basis, so it is not possible to reserve a study space. In line with the measures in place to combat the spread of the coronavirus, students are asked to answer a health check on entry. A face mask is mandatory when walking through the building.
