Urgent call: stick to the coronavirus measures

21 September 2020

There has been a large increase, over the last few weeks, in the number of coronavirus cases in Groningen. At least half of those contaminations occur among young people and students. We have to stop that together.

Koen Schuiling, mayor of Groningen and chairman of the Groningen Safety Region, Jouke de Vries, President of the University of Groningen, and Henk Pijlman, President of Hanze University of Applied Sciences, urge all students in Groningen to comply with the applicable corona rules. This prevents new strict local measures. Read the joint letter to the students in Groningen.
