Students build Mesolithic hut

How were prehistoric houses built? What did they look like? And what still remains of them today? Excavation maps do not sufficiently answer these questions. To gain more knowledge on how such huts were built, UG Archeology students built some themselves. In this video the students will tell you what is so interesting about Mesolithic constructions that were built about 7000 years ago, and why experimental archaeology is a very insightful and astonishing subdiscipline.
