Warning: SCAM Worldwide Association of Notable Alumni (WWANA)
We advise you to be vigilant when approached by the Worldwide Association of Notable Alumni (WWANA). According to us, this organization is calling alumni with a foreign phone number and claims to work together with several (Dutch) universities, including the University of Groningen, to establish an alumni network. They try to sell you a membership of WWANA and ask for your credit card information. Do not agree to this. The University of Groningen is in no way associated to the WWANA and fully distances itself from this organization. Calling campaigns of the University will always be mentioned on our website www.rug.nl/alumni, we never call from abroad and never ask for your credit card information.
Sincerely,
Alumni Relations & Fundraising / Ubbo Emmius Fund
University of Groningen
