Open Hours at the I-Shop
Members of our student pool are always present at the I-Shop to help you with questions about your career and to give advice on your motivation letter, cv and LinkedIn page. But there are more people you can talk to, coming from different fields of business. It is a chance for you to get in touch with recruiters or to be informed about opportunities in your field. They can give you advice and help you find jobs or internships.
We have both weekly and monthly visitors:
Every Monday: Integrand (12:00-14:00)Integrand is and internship counselling organisation specialized in internships in the Netherlands for both international and Dutch students. Their aim is to build a bridge between students and the labour market. The service they provide is completely free for students. They can check your CV and motivation letter and have knowledge of what recruiters of many branches are looking for. Whenever they are in contact with a company they always ask if a Dutch- or English speaking person is needed which means they also know very well were international students need to look for an internship in the Netherlands.
Every Tuesday: Unipartners (11:00-13:00)
Unipartners is an organization run by students. They aim at introducing students to the business community by actually employing them for a short-term project. This way students can gain experience at a company and develop their skills at an academic level. They talk to companies to find out where students can be of use and match you to placement. Solutions you think of will be used by a company giving you real hands-on experience and a salary.
Every Wednesday: Aiesec (12:00-17:00)Volunteering and international experience are both good for yourself and your CV. Aiesec runs many volunteering projects and internships abroad. They have projects all over the world for you to participate in to gain leadership experience. If you are looking to join an group with ideals, which strives to make a positive impact on the world, Aiesec might be just organisation for you.
Every Thursday: Job Agencies
Every 2nd Thursday of the Month: Adecco Group / Ajilon (13:00-18:00)Every 3rd Thursday of the Month: Tempo Team (13:00-17:00)Every 4th Thursday of the Month: Maandag (13:00-18:00)
Each job agency has a specialty in a certain work field. The Adecco Group/ Ajilon can give you information about job vacancies that are relevant for the higher-educated in every work field. Tempo Team can help you find the ideal side-job next to your studies. Maandag is an expert in jobs in the medical sector as well as education. They are all happy to chat with you about your career and give you tips on what recruiters are looking for!
