University of Groningen Open Days attract many visitors
Many students from the Netherlands and abroad are considering studying in Groningen. More than 11,000 people have signed up for the Open Day on Friday 11 November. At the Open Day there will be presentations about the Bachelor’s degree programmes, an information fair, study workshops and guided city walks.
The International Open Day, on 29 October, also drew many visitors. The University opened its doors to more than 500 students from over 20 different nationalities, who learned what studying in Groningen would be like. Students and their parents attended presentations on admission requirements, accommodation, student experiences and programme-specific information. During lunch, faculties and student organizations were present at the information fair to provide in-depth information on the programmes and services offered. The day closed with a guided city walk and drinks reception.
