Rector Magnificus Sterken visits the University of Rostock
Rector Magnificus Elmer Sterken visited the University of Rostock on Wednesday 27 April. He was received by his counterpart there, Wolfgang Schareck. There is a unique link between the two universities – Ubbo Emmius, the founder of the University of Groningen, was an alumnus of the University of Rostock. Prof. Schareck was among those invited to the festivities celebrating the UG’s 400th anniversary in 2014.
