University of Groningen climbs to 74th place in THE ranking list
The University of Groningen has climbed to 74th place in the Times Higher Education ranking list. The University was in 117th place last year and in 89th place the year before that. Times Higher Education changed their methodology for the ranking this year . That makes it difficult to compare the results with previous years. The new ranking list was presented on the evening of Wednesday 30 September.
The University of Groningen is now in the Top 75 in two prominent ranking lists. In August it was announced that the University had reached 75th place in the Shanghai Ranking (ARWU). Groningen currently ranks 100th in the QS ranking list.
