University of Groningen achieved 48th place in GreenMetric ranking 2014

The UI GreenMetric ranking list was established by Universitas Indonesia to draw attention to sustainability in university policy. Universities are ranked based on numerical data in the fields of ‘Setting and Infrastructure’, ‘Energy and Climate Change’, ‘Waste’, ‘Water’, ‘Transportation’ and ‘Education’. In 2013 the University of Groningen achieved the 65th place. In 2014 de University of Groningen climbed to the 48th place. Our university is now one of the best three Dutch universities. A great result!
