The new Unifocus, the video magazine of the University of Groningen, is online.
This week:
- We are not our brain. Fred Keijzer does philosophical research to explain what human cognition is.
- A fuit fly's concept of time. Hedderik van Rijn is studying whether fruit flies have a middle-term concept of time. This could have consequences for the treatment of Parkinson's patients.
- For infinity: Jean Barbeyrac. A portrait of this 18th century lawyer.
Each episode of the biweekly online video magazine Unifocus includes three items related to the University of Groningen, in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
