Public Lecture by Prof. Nick Crafts from Warwick University

On 9 October Professor Nick Crafts from Warwick University will be our next guest lecturer in the Maddison Lecture series in Economic History and Development. The topic of this lecture will be: "Divergence Big Time: Geography Matters".

Nick Crafts is the director of the ESRC Research Centre, CAGE: Competitive Advantage in the Global Economy. His research interests include the Industrial Revolution, British relative economic decline, The history of general purpose technologies and Why growth rates differ.

The event takes place between 15:30 and 17:15 on Wednesday 9 October in the Senaatskamer, Academy building.
